We know Dakhla. We tell its stories.
Meet Made in Dakhla, a creative production studio rooted in Dakhla, creating films, photography and aerial visuals for hospitality, tourism and brands.

Made in Dakhla is a creative production studio born and based in Dakhla, Morocco. We make films, photography and aerial visuals for the people and places that give this coastline its character: hotels, watersports centers, travel groups, businesses, events and independent brands.
The idea behind the studio is simple. Dakhla is more than a beautiful background. It is a place with its own rhythm: wind that changes the day’s plans, tides that reveal new textures along the shore, the quiet of sunrise, the energy of the lagoon and the conversations that happen long after the cameras are packed away. To tell stories here well, you have to know how the place feels, not just where to point a lens.
Meet Youness
I’m Youness, the filmmaker and photographer behind Made in Dakhla. My background is in creating visual content for hospitality, tourism, sports and events. I started by learning how to work close to people: understanding a team’s routine, anticipating a guest’s experience and finding a visual story in real moments rather than forcing every scene.

Working with Dakhla Club helped me understand hotel life from the inside: its staff, guest experiences and the details that make a property memorable. My work has also taken me to Ocean Vagabond, Dakhla South Bay, Tulum Beach Resort and Tour d’Eole. Each setting calls for a different approach, from energetic action on the water to calm interiors, food, wellness and the small human moments that make a stay special.
Why build a studio here?
Because being based in Dakhla changes what is possible. We can plan around the actual conditions, return for the right light, work with local teams and build a consistent visual identity over time. A sunrise on the lagoon, a windy afternoon of kitesurfing and a still evening on the coast should not all look or feel the same.

Made in Dakhla brings filmmaking, photography and aerial production together with that local understanding. We aim for work that is cinematic without losing the authenticity of the people and places on screen.
Stories worth staying for
We love the dramatic images: an athlete crossing the water, a wave breaking along the coast, a desert landscape in the last light of day. But we care just as much about the atmosphere around them: the instructor cheering a first ride, friends sharing an apéro, a team preparing for the next guests, or a celebration full of emotion.
If you’re building a hotel brand, organizing a retreat, launching a project or bringing a group to Dakhla, we’d love to help you tell that story. Explore our hospitality work, watersports filmmaking or contact us.
